Default 2002 E Glide Cruise Control Question

I'm trying to install Cruise on my 2002 E Glide Standard. I have found the Module that is a 70989-98 from a 1999 but can find nothing about fitment other than it came off a 99 and the wiring and plugs are included. The 70989-98a and 70989-98b say they are for 99 tru 03. Anyone have any help on this subject? thanks

I don't know if this will help but here are the instructions for the cruise control kit that used the same module for earlier FLHR models.

There is also another revision - 70989-98C

I did the install on my '01 EGC. You need the dash switch, and if you have the harness, the plug for it is right there on the left side fairing support bracket. You'll need the Ultra's handlebar switch housing and resume/set switch too. The cruise-specific idle cable isn't necessary for operation. You won't be able to roll the throttle off to disengage cruise, instead having to tap the brakes or flip the cruise on/off switch. I made my own harness, so the only extra step was making the ground pin connection for the module; again, if you have the full harness, you should be totally plug and play. The service manual is your friend on this for wiring diagrams and the Cruise calibration/setup procedure.
