That's interesting, considering one of the reps is on the forum and posts often on the FP3 threads. I've called a couple times and had to wait, but never had an issue getting through to someone anytime I've called. Not sure where your info is coming from on the being done part, but your comment is the first I've seen or heard of that.

I was talking to the manager of the local Harley. He hopes it doesnt happen. He is waiting until the conference is over and the owner is back. Its all coming from that EPA lawsuit. As of right now, they are told everything they install or sell must be 50 state compliant. So he will know next week if they will still even offer the parts.
V&H is not going anywhere, they already offer the FuelPak "California" which has recieved approval as an exempt aftermarket part by the California Air Resources Board; Executive Order No. D-632-2

50 state compliant basically means Street Tuner.
I believe the EPA fine and agreement was to affect Harley Race Tuners SERT.
They are the ones that change the emissions out of EPA compliancy bla bla bla.
The street tuners were always street legal as far as I know, likely California Legal too.
According to what I read the MOCO will no longer be able to sell the race tuners and there was also something in there about buying them back.

So basically, you're referring to whether or not a specific dealer will sell/install aftermarket exhaust/tuner products??? Am I understanding you correctly?

This is what I am understanding as well, that HD will no longer sell/market the race tuner. Another thread was referencing dealers making a new bike technically illegal, in terms of exhaust/emissions and warrantying said parts prior to an actual customer signing the papers and doing it on their own.
As for the FP3, great product for me so far and does what I need it to do.
Just ordered an FP3 to solve my Dresser Duals/stage 1 air cleaner rough idle issues. Shipping it to my Dad in New York so he can resend it to me in California....
I had the LCD on my '09 Road King. I was also getting pop, but it was on decel. I switched to the FP3 and the popping is all gone. Also, the throttle is way more responsive. I'm very happy with the change. I called V&H for some help picking the best map to start and they picked up within 10 minutes.
Just wondering how much Decel popping it took in the map to make it go away? There are 3 options, light, medium, and high.

Got it completely done in one shot. I didn't tweak at all. I had to contact V&H because on the '09 there's no catalytic converter so I kept the stock header and pipes (for now). But I did add a high flow air filter. There was no stock map for that. So the one V&H told me to use took care of it immediately.
I love my unit. Just did a complete header, muffler, air intake setup this weekend and the FP3 made it a snap. Put about 200 miles on it over 2 days and used the auto-tune after I had already done the selection of pipes/headers.
I wish there was an easy way to get an estimated HP improvement like some boxes can. Maybe there is but I have not seen it yet.

Got mine installed on the weekend, noticed a difference right away!
Bike seems to run smoother, installed the map V&H recommended based on my stock bike with a set of slip ons installed. Loaded the map and set decal pop to light and its awesome! Downshift and it just purrs all the way down!
