Initial starting issue
My Glide began having the occasional hard starts and kick backs after a Stage 1 flash with the SE Pro Super Tuner. Further investigation showed the recommended map set the top row, the lowest RPM, of the ignition timing table to 0 degrees specifically the last 3 cells at the highest MAP columns. Retarding these 3 cells by 3 degrees eliminated any hard starts and the engine now rolls over much easier for cold or hot starts.
Does this issue get worse as the weather cools down? I had an issue where i eventually increase my cranking fuel and it solved the problem. Until it got even colder then it was back. I looked at many other tunes (i have the Power vision so was easy to study. ) It bugged me that all tunes i had looked at didn't have to change the cold cranking values. Made me think logically that the only way the engine and computer know the temperature on startup is the engine temp. sensor in the back of the Front cylinder head. I replaced it and so returned my tuning to the stock settings and it fires right up so far now? Not saying that's what's wrong with yours but it helped me.
