Truck lite
About four years ago I bought a truck lite for my wife's 13 sg. At the end of last year it started having a problem when she would start the bike the bright would be on, after a few miles it would shut off and work just fine. A few weeks ago I put the stock light back in and worked just fine. I thought it was the light so she ordered a new truck lite and I just installed it. Same problem with the new light, turn the bike on and the bright is on. Take the truck lite out put the stock light back in and works just fine. Last year we sent her radio to iron cross for a repair it it was about 3 months after that the light problem started. I have had everything apart and there are no loose wires. I am at a loss and not sure what to do next. Anyone have the same problem or a similar problem?

I would start by checking wiring for short, beginning with the handlebar controls. Keep in mind, a truck lite takes 1/5 the energy of a standard headlight, therefore any kind of cross voltage or short will be more pronounced.
