I have tried searching and I am sure that it is here somewhere but can't seem to find what I am looking for. Ok so here is the issue that I am having, A few months ago I bought the Truck-lites (both headlight and driving light set) and everything was working fine, then one morning heading into work at 4:30 in the morning my headlight blinked from low beam to high beam then back to low beam. I did not flip or hit the switch, ALSO my driving lights never went off. When I got home that night I removed the light and checked the connections everything was tight, So I put back on the stock light and everthing worked fine, High beam, low beam with no issues. I contacted Truck-Lite's tech support and they told me that it could be a ground issue..... Either with the head light or with the radio. There are lots of wires on these newer bikes so I guess my Questions are..... 1) has anyone with the LED lights had a problem like this before, 2) how did you correct it 3) where can I find all the ground connections that could be causing all the problems (if that is the case). THANKS in advance!
temps outside? There are a few posts floating around here and other forums about the TL, HD, Kuryakyn LED headlamps causing issues like this in cold weather. In all cases (that I've read) the light had to be returned for a replacement.
If this was an issue with a ground, you'd be experiencing it with the stock light as well.
One of the ground issues we have run into is with the back of the actual light itself. It is a large metal housing and in some cases if a bare or exposed spade is touching against the back of the light it can cause a ground issue. Make sure to check the Auxiliary power and ground wires to make sure if they are not being used they are still covered. This is an orange/white wire and black ground wire that are actually attached to the H-4 headlight harness. I would start there. Normally an issue like this is easily fixed with some electrical tape on any exposed connectors or spades.

I will look into that tomorrow, I could not find any other loose ground cables everything was pretty tight. ( I did find 2 missing muffler bracket bolts when I removed my bags).....
