Please let Fuel Moto do what the need to. They are a great company that works hard but carefully to give us options for more power on our Harleys, IF we want to.
I traded my 2012 Limited for a 2017 Limited. I am still 100% stock for now, only 300 miles so far. I plan to do a stage one sometime, after the 1000 mile service. Might wait till spring to see more options available from aftermarket.
Smooth is fast. people feel faster i am assuming partly cause the smoothness of the motor, But off the line there is plenty more torque, enough some people notice a big difference. I didn't feel fast, due to the fact that my current ride has a fuel moto 107 with head work done. Hence the 114" being automatic before i would buy
I find it hard to believe the 2 engines are running that close on dyno runs, the actual real world difference is pretty noticeable from riding both back to back. And so far everyone i know that has taken a test ride felt the same. This is not a post doubting FM its just a post that its hard to imagine they run that close on numbers.
I respectfully disagree. I rode my 15 Ltd back to back with a 17 with a stage 1. I have a stage 1 plus on my bike and found no real difference especially at higher revs. The M8 has some more low end torque but in real riding it doesn't make for much of anything. Bottom line if I was needing a new bike I'd say thanks to HD for the incremental improvements. However, not worth getting rid of a perfectly good bike and taking it in the shorts on the trade to boot!!

I agree with this whole post. I have rode 3 m8 s and found the exact same thing. I have said the 103 ho with cams and suspension is the same bike at a lot less money intentionally not worth trading a Rushmore bike.
Ive purchased and used both tts and pv. They both work. Look at your posts tho. Seriously. You're continously hounding the op about dyno charts, making light year comments, and other derogatory ****. The op has already answered the dyno chart question, go back and read. Why is it so frkn important to you? Are you looking to purchase a 17 in the near future? I am. Please give it up and stop crapping on this thread!
Why can't he just post the sheets up for us to see. That is all I asked. If he developed calibrations, I'm guessing he did it on a dyno. Maybe not. Maybe he used Target Tune to develop them and doesn't have dyno sheets? I don't know. I would just like to see them.
I'm not continuously hounding him or posting derogatory stuff. I'm anxious to see what he comes up with. He posts other shop's dyno sheets showing the numbers that they make with his kits. I'm not sure why he would be bashful about or hold back posting sheets for M8 calibrations that he developed.
