We've been dyno testing and writing calibrations for the 2018 CVO Limited over the past week. Here is a dyno chart that compares the completely stock 117" engine, the FM Improved Stock Power Vision tune, and with the addition of Jackpot Hi Roller mufflers.

looks like less than 5% HP increase and about 7% torque . looks like the CVO is pretty well set up right off the showroom floor , which , considering what they cost , you kind of hope for !
so the reasons for going to the Jackpots and PV tune are ?

1) rev limiter moved from 5150 rpm to 6250 . not sure how many people use that extra range
2) it runs a little richer and therefore cooler ?
3) the Jackpots sound better ?

anything else ?

it looks almost the same as a 107 with the 222 cam in it. Im sure with some headwork and the right cam that beast will roll with a 130hp/tq +

Do the numbers shown include a high-flow air cleaner kit?

Or does the stock CVO air cleaner flow sufficient air volume, as is?

Looks to me to be a very good result for just a tune & slip-ons....

That added torque is right where you want it, too.

Just goes to show that any bike can be improved by ditching the OEM tune...!

For this round of testing we retained the stock CVO "Ventilator" air cleaner. We would gain some power by changing it as the element is tiny, we are going to be installing a different cam in this engine and will test a different air cleaner as well.

Tested the Jackpot M8 2/1/2 head pipe yesterday on the 18 CVO Limited with Jackpot Hi Roller mufflers & Dynojet Power Vision tune. Excellent overall gains, our next test will be a cam swap.

I assume you can "feel" 11 additional HP and 13 more torque but is it really noticeable? Can it be measured In terms of additional bike lengths ahead of a stock version?

Probably a dumb question. Trying to determine what the minimum increase in HP /Torque is needed to actually feel a significant difference.

Thanks

You would absolutely feel a difference with a gain like that. Definitely noticeable. No question.

1/4 pound = 1 hp.
