Who has a 23 front rim and no problems like a wobble or shake. Do you have air ride in front? Are you raked out and if so how much and what kind? Who has a batwing fairing and is it causing any issues? Do you have an air ride on back? Thanks
Couple of my riding buddies have gone this route and switched back. No problem for blvd touring but definitely will affect handling during curves. You definitely have to rake the frontend, depending on the manufacturer they have kits with bolt-on triple trees, fender covers etc.
Jonny Vegas - I have the arlen ness 7 degree rake and air ride with batwing and on freeway about 65mph I start getting this swaying motion and scares the hell out me especially recovering from bike accident. Is your front end lowered?
front end is stock height, ive gotten her up to about 95mph, stable as a park bench.....even in corners, just feels that much better, but it does take more effort for the initial turn in.
does it sway at all height or only when you ride a little lower ?
Ive tried several heights but seems to do it in all or at least to me...and mainly 65mph and higher....I do have a batwing on do you think that could cause it. I know there has to be many bikes with similar set up.....I think I'm going to take batwing off and try it that way with air at full height and see what happens. You don't have a batwing on do you
