I have brand new Harley stock plugs in my 2010 Street Glide and I have a brand new Harley Davidson battery. I also plug the battery into a tender every night.
I'm a big proponent of plugging the battery into a tender every night. Once on a previous Honda I was at a restaurant and left the key on for 90 minutes. I thought I was going to be stranded. The bike fired right up.
Anyway, I was having hard starts before replacing the battery and spark plugs. I thought new hardware this would solve the problem. I rode almost daily and it can occur intermittently or multiple times in a day.
Has anyone else come across this problem and found a solution? I did buy the bike used from a guy this past June 2016. He was negligent on maintenance, but I believe I've got everything up to snuff.

Reason: Just so it reads more clearly
I have had a couple of hard starts in what I call hot weather 90 plus. Stopping for gas it sometimes turns over like it is looking for fuel. My buddies did the exact same thing three weeks ago as we rode along the west coast. It only does it to me when it is really hot. I think the fuel is vaporizing in the fuel bar between the cylinders when I stop the engine. If I give the throttle a little twist as I hit the start button, problem goes away

Mine has done it early in the morning after sitting all night and throughout the day. Thank you for your reply.
