Hard starts
The old ones were fine, screaming eagle I think, but I just wanted new ones.
Installed a set of stock HD plugs for my bike, and right off the bat, it began to start hard.
The bike used to fire up almost instantly, now it turns over for 5-10 seconds before it fires.
I changed nothing else but the plugs, so maybe the stockers aren't the best ones to use?
I don't know, anyone else notice this?

Funny you mentioned this,i had the same thing happen to me when i replaced stock original std type HD plugs that came in my bike with HD's dbl platinum replacement plugs.
As soon as i installed them with that being the only thing i did the motor now takes a few more revoltions then it used to fire up cold or hot.
Not a long time but still takes noticeably longer to fire up.
And i gaped the stock std and new dbl plat repl plugs to the same stock HD spec too so thats not the issue.
Guess it could be that maybe the new dbl plat plugs rep plugs may take a little more juice to fire then std type HD repl plugs.
Bike had 20k miles on it at the time the changed the plugs,i bought it from the original owner 11/2014 with only 9,700 miles on it.
Wish i haden't dumped the old plugs in the trash because i would have reinstalled them to see if the bike would return to starting up a bit quicker again.

I used the figure quoted in the factory manual.
