Techno research tuner
Has anyone used these little techno research USB unlock keys? What are the pro's to them and any cons. I've always used tts but a trusted shop owner suggests the techno deal. At 625.00 for tuner and dyno time, it sounds good .
Before I bought my TTS I had narrowed it down to the direct link or TTS. It was right around the time that techno was coming out with upgrades and at the end of the day their timing just didn't work for me, couldn't wait any more and I bought the TTS. They don't have a huge following, but the tuners I've talked to that use them love them because of their flexibility and ease of use while tuning.
FWIW, I used to work for a training company in Troy, MI where Delphi and Techno Research are headquartered, we did tons of work with GM/Delphi. Rumor mill from some pretty reliable sources was that the design guys/owners at Techno were former Delphi engineers that were heavily involved with the HD ECM. Again, I've never physically used them, but never heard anything bad about them.
The guys in the dyno room under tech and mechanical/ignition tuner may be able to provide more input........

I have one in my RK. Seems to work great. Fully functioning. Like many tuners its as good as the operator. I don't know if they offer any map support. In my case my indie tuner created his own tune on my bike by logging and adjusting tables on his computer.
Only down side is having a guy who knows how to use it, and maybe not as user friendly as a PV or FP3. On the other hand my '16 RK with a stage 1 rips on an M8 with a dealer stage 1.
