Correction they are already rattling and loose. When I went out on my maiden voyage last night I kept hearing what I thought was the lid rattling as if it was not locked down or the latches were loose. Until I just read this post I did not realize that it is the bushings instead. Just went out to the Garage and yep they suck. Thats what the problem was... I will look forward to your fix info.
Thanks

It might not be the bushings....yet, but beleive me they will go bad and Bobby's upgrade is worth the cost. If you look at the Tour Pak seat you will notice that it is mounted with several rubber bumpers and not actually solidly mounted to the lid. This could cause the pad to make a noise simular to a lid banging. It does on mine and I and trying to adjust it so it will stop. After replacing the crappy bushings with Bobby's myTP was once again solid on the removable mount but still making some noise due to the seat/pad.
