Any good way to move your tour pak forward or back other than the 2 holes on the bracket?

There is also two positions the "U" shaped bracket that attaches to the bottom of the tour pack can go in.
I made a piece of 1/4 aluminum plate with extra holes in it that goes between the Detachable rack and the "U"bracket under the tour pack..I can move my tour pack back from stock forward position to 4 inches back in one inch increments.Scott

Booby

Just installed the rear bushings and I can't believe how snug the tour pak is!

What are you going to improve next?

****OFFICIAL "AFTER RIDE" REPORT USING BOBBY'S SUPER-DUPER HIGH SPEED LOW DRAG HOMESPUN TOUR PACK MOUNTING BRACKETS****

Trip Details:
Sunny, 70* day with winds 10-15mph
Approximately 180 miles round trip of interstate riding, running anywhere between 70-90mph.
Roads were dry and in most places smooth..although I am in NY and there were plenty of places that put these bushings to the test...believe me...

One word: OUTSTANDING..these bushings were great...not one rattle, the TP stayed tight, no rocking at all, absolutely no noise or clunking or banging, nothing, nada, zip.

A few times after hitting some rough pavement, I'd thought for sure I'd hear something or look back to see my TP dangling off the bike only being held on by the antenna plug....nope, never happened. TP was right there the whole time. Amazing.

There was one glaring negative though....I'm almost afraid to admit it....

The bike was so rattle free from the TP clatter I'm used to hearing, that I realized I had ANOTHER unrelated rattle happening, most notebly my decorative shift linkage cover is missing a screw and it rattles like a bitch.....

THANK YOU for a great product. When and if you decide to patent this idea and go into mass production and need financial backers..I'd like to buy stock.
