Dynamo Dave, here's my first post:

I have a 2004 Ultra classic with K/N extreme air filter, upgrades screaming eagle cam plate, Andrews 21 Cam's and power commander III usb. I just purchased and installed full bore slip on's 2.5" baffle and the left side exhaust coming out of the pipe is cool to Luke warm at best. After rigging 50 miles, the left side muffler is cold to the touch. Right side is hot as should be. When bike is running, you can hear and feel the air coming out of the left exhaust, it's just not hot. It's cold and exhaust pipe doesn't heat. I spent the afternoon with Dynojet dialed in the my bike and no answers. I unplugged the power commander and hooked the bike straight us to the factory ECM (bypasses power commander) and same result. At a loss here and not what to do. Not sure is this is common and I'm over reacting but I've never had one pipe not
Get hot. Any help or feedback would be sincerely appreciates. Thank you!!!

Newer bike? It's a 2004. It's 12 years old. Had nothing to do with year. Had everything to do with telling people they wasted their money, which in short, is calling them a dumbass or stupid. That's "just not right". You should never say, "that was a waste of money". How about, "if it were me, I would have done this or that". Have some class. That's all people want is help and for people to he tactful when doing so. It's that simple.

Any member on here that had a fuel injected bike will back this 100%. Factory Harley's have to meet EPA standards. They are lean right out of the factory. Throw on parts that force the bike to need more fuel and don't add a fuel module and see what happens. Let's see....decel popping, poor performance, poor gas mileage. I'm short, you may want to stay with your carb and ride your 250 HAHA. You go to fuel injection and don't find a way to give it more gas, you won't be riding anyway. So before you start telling people they wasted their money, I would focus on talking points you do know. Why would you want to be a jerk and say something like that anyway? Because that's your opinion? My opinion is that your carbed bike should have antique tags and your 250 HAHA was made for 18 year olds who aren't big enough to handle an ultra. Is this forum to help people or just tell them they are stupid and that was a mistake. Also, get some glasses or clean your glass eye. I said the LEFT (if you need help understanding right from left, i can't help you there), blows "cool" air and / or less warmer air than the right. Guess what? Got my bike today and there was a reason. First let me let you chew on this. My bike dynoed at 76.05 torque before PCV. After PCV I stalled, torque is at 90.35. This is a stock 88 motor with Andrew 21 Cam's. Now do you want to tell me the PCV was a total waste of money? If you would like a copy of the dyno reports, I'd LOVE to email them to you and anyone else that would like to see them. If you are not on this forum to help people, get off of it. People come here looking for help. No one wants to hear, "buying x was a total waste of
Money". I assure you, it wasn't. What was a waste...me reading your post!!! As far as reading plugs, you must have an 80 year old oak tree that puts out a lot of shade. We (well, some of us) live in a world where there's technology that's much better than looking at a spark plug. Telling someone to look at their spark plug to make a diagnostic decision is like telling someone to replace their entire electrical system because one fuse blew. If you want to help people, help them. In not, go ride your 250HAHA with your Go-Pro taped to your helmet and then call your the 2 drunk friends you have and use those 3 magic words you have used all your life, "hey, watch this". For everyone else that asked questions and helped, I will post tomorrow what was causing temp to be cool. Pretty impressed with 90+ torque.... Bike runs great and the mechanics didn't even look at the plugs. Amazing!!!
I think you missed this tidbit in your first post:

If you don't like the advice given you just ignore it. You don't have to rage like an internet weenie just because someone said something you didn't agree with.
I mean look... you totally went off hinge because someone said "buying a PCV is a waste of money", which in some scenarios is actually true depending on what you're fighting with.
All that typed up emotional mess for nothing. Gesus. And... the guy was only trying to help.
Advice is advice, good or bad, but if you can't deal with the "bad", no one here is going to want to help you further.

THAT is how it works. Glad your bike is fixed.

Traveller, you said "Telling someone to look at their spark plug to make a diagnostic decision is like telling someone to replace their entire electrical system because one fuse blew"...

Well actually I have no idea what you mean by that, but a spark plug's condition can tell you a lot. Including if you're trying to establish whether it's been firing correctly or not due to fouling from a rich condition.
