I keep around 32 psi in my back shocks all the time, whether I'm ridin alone or with the wife on back. This has worked for me since new...
Check your owners manual. They have all the info you need...

What he said - check the manual for ranges based on weight, I keep mine at about 25 psi all the time. Also, check the recommended PSI for rear tire,I believe it is 36 for solo and 40 psi for two up. Happy riding!
Papa and them are right, I keep about 35 in mine and don't change it if I have a passenger. I weigh about 275 and my passenger weighs about 130, so that should be prettysimilar to your range.

I ususlly run 10~12 & 15 (and that's w/90% 2up riding) when loaded for a long ride. I have never had more than 15 ~ 18 in the shocks on any of my bikes..
