Congrats. My father has been retired 23 years after working 40 for the government. He is still doing well at 80, so I think you have plenty of road trips ahead of you! You deserve at least 30 years of retirement after all the work you put in.

Good for you. I will be 35 in 13 days. retirement isn't even on the horizon for me. That is why I play the lottery. LOL. Have fun, and if you get bored in a year or two, get a little pt job. LOL Not that you are even thinking about it, but I bet it would be fun to be retired and work at a hd dealer, or at a home depot or something.
I hope you enjoy your retirement to the fullest. My father-in-law retired from the post office last year. Man, I am very envious. Would be awsome to just take off whenever you wanted. WOW, that must be why I work.!!

congrats---take long trips---I just went to my pre-retirement briefing--I have the years (29) but not the age for full retirement I have 7 years to figure out what I want to do next.
