Having a set of Progressive monotubes (touring 31-2500) with 1 clip installed today, I'm sure it will be a major improvement from the stock crap.

Being November here in Wisconsin. I just received my AXEO's. Will try to get them installed before the snow falls. I doubt I will be able to test them till next year. Thanks everybody for advise and help. The only issue I see is the weight chart turns for stiffness. That sounds **** like? lol. I am 225 lbs. I float between 210 and 250. Should I set it up for 200 or 250? ???? One or two turns?

Yea, the part I don't like is that if you don't like the setting, (any brand), you have to tear it down again. It would be nice to get it right the first time around!
Let us know what you try first and how that worked out.

Hmm ... how much do you weigh?
Keep us posted with how that setting worked for you.

I am 225. I always carry rain gear and a jacket/crap in my tour bags. So maybe another 15 lbs. I think I am going with 200 lbs setting. The only complaint I ever hear about any front suspension is too stiff. The only too soft complaints seem to comes from using stock suspension. Which is crap anyway. Even on the Progressive mono tubes. If all clips are removed, it is good just lowered 1 inch. What would be nice is 1.5 turns. But the flat spot on the shaft for the set screw makes that limited. So its one or two turns.

I got these installed with the 2 spacers and the front end is too stiff. Progressive told me to remove one spacer. Is this a full installation job or is there a way to remove the spacer without having to remove the forks, tire, fender, etc?

Yes absolutely worth the effort. I weight 180lbs and the front end was way to stiff with the two clips.
