Default NEW Boom! Audio Bluetooth Cruiser Amp

Looking at the NEW cruiser amp handlebar speakers.

http://www.harley-davidson.com/store...nd-speaker-kit

I know the older version sucks but this model seem to be greatly improved.
It now has 2 way speakers, 3 1/2" woofers and 1" tweeters and the bluetooth
control works great. I synced my phone to the unit at the dealership about two weeks ago and when I went back in an pushed play on the controller today, my music started to play the last song I was playing those two weeks ago. What I like about it is the simplicity if the control, you don't have to take your eyes off the road or even take your phone out of your pocket to use it. It doesn't have any wires running to an amplifier or to your phone. Just jump on the bike and push one button and your music is playing from the last point you stopped it. Also the control is mounted directly above your right switch housing and you can push the buttons while barely taking your hand off the throttle. To me this is the least distracting system I have yet to look at. The only question is the sound. Does anyone have this unit on there bike and if so how does it sound at speed? I know they are only rated at 40 watts but that is nominal, while a lot of their competitors list peak to peak wattage which is very misleading...

I would also be interested on how these new speakers sound. I had the old ones on a Heritage, and they were ok at best.

Default Bt 344

Talk to biketronics about their BT344. I installed the handlebar controls into my bars on my road king and then ran the wires into a BT 344. Ran that into a 2250 amp, I can now mount my phone, have Nav over the speakers, run pandora, or regular phone music through my speakers. Can control volume, play/pause, skip, while leaving my hands where they need to be. Was some work to add switches and pull extra wire, but looks clean and factory. Still buttoning it all up and waiting for a nice day to do a test ride, but it rocks I’m the garage for now. I can send a few pictures of the setup if that helps. Not 100% finished, but may be helpful for a start.

(sorry posted on wrong thread)

I had the Harley Boom system that hung from the windshield on my 2011 Road King for several years. I think it sounded pretty good. The only issues are changing music and hearing it at highway speeds. I eventually sold it and now run a Sena SMH-10 system in my helmets.
