So I thought I would post up a little comparison of the genssi light compared to the stock dual halogen and the led bulbs in the stock housing. After installing my dynamic rings I was unhappy with the yellow headlight. While searching for options I came across a post from miketd3 about getting rid of a genssi (ebay) led headlight. He offered to give it to me for free (thanks again) as long as I posted a review. I think the pics really tell the story. The genssi is definitely a brighter light at night but Mike's concern about daytime visibility ( that's why he removed it) is certainly valid. The daytime pics are with the bike running the low beam. I like the night vision but I'm not sure the daytime is acceptable. I'm actually thinking the led bulbs in the stock housing may be the path I take. It's just as bright as stock during the day and better than stock at night by far ( but not as bright as the genssi). I'm still on the fence as of now. Sorry for the poor layout of the thread , I'm posting from my phone
The night shots sure look bright! Hopefully it works out for you.
thanks again Mike. The night view is wayyy better than the stock housing for sure. I was truly surprised by the daytime visibility but the high beam helps a bit. Gonna ride it for a bit and see
