I test rode a new 17 Limited with that silly vent and I too couldn't feel any difference with that vent opened or closed. When I got back from my test ride I told the salesman that I wanted the stock 12 inch shield like my 2010 limited came with and still has on it.
He told me that a 12 inch shield is an option and the short shield is the now the stock on the Limited's, I replied that that is why the wind was hitting directly in my face and that short shield sure won't work when the Love Bugs are out.
.... no, he's 5 foot 12.
....... guy thinks he's 5'12, ... guy likes bein' 5'12, ....... the man wants to be 5'12 ... so let him be 5'12
..... who are we to judge what a man wants to be
.......
i'd like to see some of harleys wind tunnel testing they did on them. i might feel alittle more buffeting with it closed too. i'm running a 7" shield.
Me too. I'm surprised if the hole was that good that they didn't publish some testing with pictures. I mean I believe all that they say and all.......really I do.
