Default Replacing headlight assembly

My highbeam has quit and the lense has a few frosty lines. I want a new assembly. The oem part number is 68342-05A. What are my options for replacing it?

Switch to LEDs; Daymakers (HD) or Truck-Lite. You will not believe the amount of light they put out. There are two versions, projector and reflector. I personally like the projector version but there are tons of reviews out there. Install in plug and play.

budget choice- same again- alot of riders have them sitting in the box and you can buy cheap ( i put 2 in my 1974 Blazer).

the dual halogen can also be inexpensive- requires a wiring adapter or splice.
that's what I now use on my 09.

I'm not big on the leds- I think many of them don't cast an even light

Any chance you have part numbers? I need one quick and don't have time to research... thanks!

Avoid replacement LED bulbs, they in particular are infamous for failing to provide a decent beam and causing dazzle. Any 7" round auto reflector will fit, it doesn't have to be fancy, as will any suitable normal auto bulb. If you are in a hurry just visit a decent auto parts store. Take your old unit, just to satisfy yourself the new one is the same.

There are good quality reflectors, especially E marked ones (European), which give excellent beam shape, from the likes of Bosch, Hella and Valeo. Branded bulbs will give best results, such as Osram.

I have Trucklight LED units in all three front lights, which are also widely available, which you may find locally. Here in the UK they are marketted for the off-road crowd for some reason, if that is any help!
