Man you all must be cold natured or sumpin', I wear a leather coat, I will wear leather pants but not overpants. I am sixty years young do not have heated seat, heated gloves nor will I wear a full face helmet to keep the cold off and see no reason for a snow mobile suit to ride in.
Been thru CO in late May, crossed Wolf Creek Pass snow flying, used to ride all year but now a days arthritis flares and sets me back when it gets under 30. Still wear 1/2 helmet, earplugs, I will add a face shield at times, have unlined leather gauntlet gloves, good pair of thinsulate lined workboots, wear wool socks and regular long sleeve shirt with a t-shirt when it gets below 40.
My Normal body temp is 97.6, seems I am part reptile as I just slow some in the cold and still wear heavy clothes summer heat.
Theres a difference between doing it, and doing it in comfort. And there's also people who will go as minimalist as possible just to try to look like a hardass. I just have a good chuckle and turn my heated gloves on.
What about some overpants like the TourMaster ones? They are waterproof, abrasion resistant and take knee armor if you desire??
Which tour master pants and jacket ?
I use the first gear thermal 1 piece suit , it is 71/2 years old and the Velcro is is starting come off the legs amd not sealing as well , plus I have gained a few pounds and the suit is a little small now. I have no complaints down into the 20s in the rain with the First gear just looking for something different this time.

The First Gear one piece looked pretty nice, until I realized that it was so bulky that it would suck to take it on a 5000+ mile ride (have to pack the Mrs stuff to!). The Omni-heat parka liner compressed down to very small, and is very lightweight and comfortable. Not bulky. I just throw a windbreaker over it if is really cold out or for drizzle.
I love my Carhartt fleece lined jeans. I'm good down to 40 in NJ. Below 40 I put on the long johns. I haven't needed to plug in as of yet. I hold up pretty well.
Aerostitch pants year round with thermals in the winter. Heated jacket liner and heated gloves. If I didn't have the Ultra I would probably get heated pant liners.
