An opportunity to give Thanks.

Mike and others.
Our HOG Chapter did an overnigher last May from Peoria. We left early and road to Kayenta, Checked into our rooms at the Kayenta Monument Valley Inn then rode out to where the movie Castaway with Tom Hanks was filmed, stopped for a photo shoot then rode back to the resort for a while then back to Kayenta for the night.

Some of our Chapter rode back out the next day and took the tour through the canyon and said it was awesome.

Most of us started home because we probably picked the worst weekend to ride up there because the wind was blowing like 45 miles an hour the whole weekend.

It was an awesome weekend even with the wind. We had 21 bikes and 28 people on the ride.

The Monument Valley Inn has a restaurant with some pretty good eats and a buffet breakfast (does cost).

If you want a heck of a ride, get on rt 60 and head west, you can pick up rt 66 in new mexico, then from the winslow area head North to 4 corners.

Sept 2016, I rode down the coast across AZ then up the Eastern side of Grand Canyon through Bryce Canyon and Monument Valley to Park City, UT. Then across central OR back to Portland. Great weather, great ride.
