Default Road King to Ultra
I have a friend that we changed an Ultra to a road glide, so he has all the parts left. Will the ultra stuff bolt on a road king?

Just a few days ago I sold my 2016 road king and purchased a 2016 ultra classic. I transferred quite a few items over to the ultra so what parts are you talking about and if that's what I did I'll let you know.

He wants to put the fairing and all the other stuff ie inner, outer, gauges ect..

he wants to put the inner and outer fairing gauges ect... I'm thinking if the frame is the same it should all bolt on

While I haven't gone thru this, it's gonna be the wiring that you will need to pay attention to.....

I have the wiring from the ultra ,I also have all the nuts and bolts

Yes you can everything fits. Do you have gas tank too? I'm going to convert my 07 RK over to 09+ RG Starting in couple weeks. Winter project when I'm in Maryland working for 2017..

you should be able to keep the gas tank some make a cover for the speedo hole

I guess u could leave RK tank but RG and SG tank looks much cleaner. I would find RG/SG tank and sell RK tank. What year is your bike and what year is donor bike ? 08 to 13,are all same .
I'm converting 07 RK to newer RG 08,+. I'm buy 07 RG main harness to 08+ everything else, even adding factory cruise control which 07 RK custom didn't come with.
