I have them , also the seal problem, but were replaced at no charge, and now are fine, they will make your front end seem more soft, so you might need some balance, i changed the fork fluid to a heavier oil, great now
I bought them and it took me awhile to dial them in.... I was overthinking the whole thing.... They are very easy to adjust.. you can only adjust the preload, not the damping..
I finally got them dialed in, and noticed they were within 1/2 a number suggested on the chart they give you to dial them in... Duh...
They are much better than the air shocks. I didn't tell the wife about the shock change and she noticed immediately.
I've never tried Ohlins, and hear so much about them. After all is said and done, I could have gotten a comparable set of Ohlins from Howard @ Motorcycle Metal for very close to the same price... I'm going to try a set of Ohlins for my next bike or maybe even this one.....
Well, if they improved their website so you can easily see the different models and their prices, they might sell more! Hard to find details so why choose these over others?
