man, I feel like a dumb *** !!! just checked the fob and it was upside down , Thanks everyone for the help !!!!!!
look at the bright side, you know your security override code, and are now pretty adept at using it. that puts you ahead of a whole bunch of other people.
When i bought my current bike with security I was at dealer and sales guy started it while I sat on it and after a min or so I shut it off wit the switch on bars. couple mins later sales guy went to move it to fill it wit fuel and couldn't figure out why it wouldn't fire. At first thought fob battery was bad so went and got 2nd fob also didn't fire. Took a few mins to figure out what was wrong. Guess they don't use the switch on the bars they use the key lock only. I try to use the KISS method and Calculatus Eliminatus to troubleshoot problems.
