Good morning, I have a 2010 limited, and I'm trying to get this thing to run cooler, research on this forums, I've made some improvements, but i still get a fair bit of heat on my legs while riding. Mods so far:
open air cleaner
cat less head pipe
cvo slip on mufflers
fuel pak 3
bike runs strong enough, I suppose, but was wondering if I were to swap out baffles in the mufflers with something from full sac, if it would have any noticeable improvement, heat and performance wise. Not looking to make it any louder, very happy with current sounds.
Wife and I tried a 15 Ultra Limited and couldn't get off the thing fast enough as the heat was unbearable. Some years ago I found Captain Itch Crotch Cooler and never looked back. They simply work. I have Bassani true dual on my Road Glide and it gets quite hot. Not so with the Crotch Cooler.
Maybe try pulling the lower fairings for more air flow.
my oil runs 25ş cooler with fairing lowers on vs off.
measured on a 105ş day. 1/2 mile to fwy, 9 miles at 65, 1/2 mile turn around, 9 miles on fwy, 1 mile to home.
the lowers order and direct the air at the motor for better cooling.
BUT that hotter air may hit your thighs.
keeping thighs to tank will make that hot air flow by rather than eddy
thick jeans help.
you could review your settings with V&H
also keep you revs up where you see good oil pressure, oil removes heat from the hottest parts of the motor and carries it to be dispersed by the cooling fins and oil tank

I'd contact V&H about what tune to use with the CVO slip ons. Their canned tunes are primarily with their products. I've got V&H double slash slip ons, A/N open intake with stock headers and noticed a little cooler ride, 2013 Road Glide Ultra. Hopefully will do an autotune when our riding season is in full swing.
