Not any major biggie differences from 1984 till 2017 yeah I know twin cam and now M8 but all in all its a vtwin . Get an older bike give it the paint job you want. Then grab you a crate motor 117 120ci 124 127 etc. Throw in a 6 speed Trans gears. Boom you will have a bike you love more power than any of the new bikes and your budget would be around 12 grand. New bikes are nice and all but 30-40k is down payment for a house territory or a nice 68 ss Camaro.

No brainer ..Milwaukee 8 but give it a year. If you want to be cautious, maybe 5!?? Bigger NO BRAINER......Do not finance hobbies. Unless you are just rich and and your money is all tied up in investments. If you truely do not have $$,$$$, Do not finance hobbies.

getting the 16 and upgrading later? Lots of $$$ lost. Getting the 17 and 6 year extended service plan, priceless. Or wait till the 18's come out.. or rumor has it the 19's have a better front end, and the 20's will have a modern direct injection, and 21's .....
