So I am wanting to get a half helmet but can't find what I am looking for so hoping someone can direct me to what I am looking for. I want one that has ear flaps that I can put speakers in. They all seem to have the liner u zip in and out that goes around the whole back but that is to big. I am just looking for the ear flaps. I have a friend that has an older helmet that has these but the helmet is not made any more so hoping there is a manufacture that still makes something like this. I am wanting this so I can use the sena s20 with the half helmet.
That Sena looks nice. I'd like to try it out and see if it works like video.
I'm using and Indian helmet that I painted flat black. It has zip out flaps and it works great with the Sena. I think it was something like $100 or so. The only problem I have is the boom mic picks up a bunch of wind noise even with a full shield.

I talked to the sena person at the international bike show about their helmet and he said once u get above 50 it will not do well because of where the speakers and mic are located at
I have the HD Lone Star half helmet. The ear covers are removable, and aren't made specifically for inserting speakers, but you could easily do it. FWIW the helmet is adjustable, so it fits my goofy sized head. Most comfortable half helmet I have owned. Relatively cheap to at $115.
I know this thread has been dead for a couple of weeks but the wife and I just got the Sena Cavalry Helmets and I can tell you this...

These things work and it's absolutely amazing...
We took them out last night for first time. I have a 15 Wide Glide with the Vance and Hines 2 into 2 and she has the Python pipes on her Super Glide Custom...
At 70+ mph without the ear covers on we were carrying on a conversation under full acceleration... wind and all
We were also able to share music off my phone...
This technology is amazing... I am not sure how Sena did it but it is worth it...
OH and if you order it make sure you get a size smaller because the helmet is elongated front to back...
IT's a bit steep at around the $300 mark but well worth it IMHA
