The Cirrus lights won't throw light, but they may make you more visible.
I do like how they integrate nicely with the crash bar.
I have a set very much like this on my engine guard of the Road Glide and made a huge difference riding in the dark, especially before I put on a decent headlight.

I have the same set on my SG. They make a big difference.
I would like to do the Cirius lights as well. $200 is steep. Also I was going to get the switch kit for the AUX switch for the lights. Add at least another $20 to $30. It's only money right! My buddy has a blacked out bike ran wire thru the crash bar. Very clean. Nice fit and finish.

Have these as well but replaced the halogen bulbs with Cree led's
I would say they are not very useful at putting light down the road but great for being seen.
