What do ya'll use to clean the oil off after doing a fluid change? I heard brake cleaner.
I've been using break cleaner for a bit to clean the hard to get areas after an oil change. Works great! Haven't seen any paint issues as yet. My brother got that tip from a bike shop.
Here is the Jagg Oil Cooler page http://www.jagg.com/lowmount.htm
Of course I was hoping to stay with an HD product but it's good to have options.
That one is pretty nice- looks like the H-D cooler.
The low mount definitely looks better than Jagg's other cooler that hang off the side of the downtube... [:'(]
EDIT: Hmmm. Just noticed for the Jagg cooler that Twin Cam applications require the use of an offset adapter. Looks like after buying everything necessary for installation the Jagg kit will cost as much as (or more- depending on model) than the H-D cooler. And the H-D cooler comes with a chrome cover.
Nice to have options, but all things being equal I would buy the H-D model.
haing my oil temp guage installed tomorrow(collision dept still owes me one from the accident to replace the amb guage) will the lines/routing interfere with an oil cooler install???
