Power under fairing
Is there a good place to get a constant power source under the fairing? Not a key hot. I have the power wire for my amp up there direct from the battery but I don't think it's a good idea to run anything else off an amp power wire.

They"always hot" Len from the battery goes to the idnition switch. At can be accessed from inside the fairing. Don't cut it...but carefully peel off some insulation, wrap the bared wire around it and solder it. Wrap well with electric tape. Make sure to put a fuse inline to the wire you added. Use a DMM to to find the hot wire.
