[QUOTE=OscarN;19568337]well, I got sober since then. I still like my bike especially it being paid off. Tried a suoxide choppers sissy bar that my friend has on his RG. Still not sure if I like it or not considering a price tag...
I don't blame you for not likening the looks of that sissy.
Seems as though one would feel the need to put on a pair of taller "pointy" bars and then maybe "pointy" engine & bag guards too.
Maybe spend your "hard earned" on powder coating the windshield bracket instead?

Im having a heck of a time finding the part that will fit. Ive seen pics with some folks who had them mounted and understand that it requires a bit of work to get them on since theres no exact match of the part to the 2017 RKS. Any idea if this one will fit? Any other considerations? Much thx

It's been a couple years now since I was researching the same, I think the answer is in this thread though, using HD parts and not the Kuryakyn. You might have to page by page through the thread. Maybe you've already done that, idk.

Good luck.
I think I posted my parts list.when I did mine. I’ll have a look. And it’s literally so easy a child could do it. No sense paying anyone, unless you are electrically challenged. The “hardest” part is crimping connectors. All the plugs are right there under the nacelle and no dealer involvement needed.
Edit: see post #1558 on this thread. HD kit 6800004 is what I used.
It's fuc*in' gorgeous man. Nice job!! I have a Saddlemen Road Sofa. Is this a new seat from them?? Love the lumbar!! I got the driver backrest with mine but never use it, not needed with the hi rise at back of driver. Gives me plenty of support!
