Finished Kuryakynizing the front (oil cooler cover + regulator cover). Weird that the oil cooler cover is plastic while the regulator cover is aluminum. I think they got it backwards lol

Higher cost if they went with aluminum on the cooler since it's a bigger piece. They opted to go with ABS to keep the mfg cost down but still charge the public like it was aluminum. Can we say profit margin.

yup. Actually one guy on FB brought up a good point that the regulator cover is aluminum for the heat sink. And oil cooler cover might be plastic for easier fitment, I actually had to flex the sidewalls a bit to fit it around the hoses. But this whole setup is overpriced for sure. HD = Hundreds of Dollars lol

I was never a big fan of Kury simply b/c they cheese out on a alot of their products and go plastic. Those hideous mirrors with the skeleton hands they sell are the worst looking things on the market.

I like Kuryakin overall but agree with the skull mirrors. I actually bought a pair for my RKS but when I got them I returned them ASAP. Butt ugly ridiculous on that product!! Went with the expensive HD contrast cut mirrors to match rest of my bike theme.

I'm not a fan of Kury either. Just liked those covers and decided to try even though they crazy priced for what they are. Harley cover with the grille wouldn't fit because of the cooling fan, my dealership said.
