Anyone have a set of fangs for the RKS? Can't seem to find them for the RKS, but available for the standard RK. Hopefully there is a solution, those are a must have for me.

If you have em, please post a part number/brand.
The HD ones should fit, p/n 57400146A if your fitting a windshield ? I had them on my std RK with the wind splitter but have now changed screens to a freedom shields cvo recurve, now i don't need the fangs with this new shield (no more buffeting).
[QUOTE=RKS-Raven;16121814]New bars installed and so much more comfy!
Hey RKS. Bars look awesome! What are they? Im planning on changing your it my stock bars because the reach is too far for me and pulling them back jacks up my wrist angle (Im 59). Thanks.
Hey.. New to these forums.. I put a deposit down on either a Road King or Road King Special.. I can't decide which one I want. The reason I'm torn is because I want the ability to do some longer rides with the wife on weekends (200-300 miles). During the week it would be mostly local cruising and work commutes. I love the look of the RKS and I really like the bars and ergos.
For the RKS, I would be adding a windshield (22"? - I'm 5'9"), a back rest, passenger floor boards and maybe a more comfortable seat. For the RK, I wouldn't really have to add anything except the back rest, but I'd be missing out on the look that I love.
I'm worried about overall comfort with a passenger and also wind buffeting.
I'm 5'9" about 185lbs, shes 5' about 105lbs. If anyone has any input, I'd be grateful.
hey vox. Were the same size - Im 59 but a little lighter and my wife is 51 105 lbs. I changed out the stock seat and got new shocks which makes the ride much more comfortable and I added passenger floor boards and the sissy bar. I also got the Windsplitter windscreen - smoke - looks great and works great.
Its now a very comfortable ride and my wife loves it.
One comment I would have is the stock bars. I have short arms and the reach is uncomfortable for me with the mini Apes. Im looking to replace them. If you can live without the awesome color choices, then maybe the RK is better. Test drive the heck out of both of them. Would love to hear back.
Mustang touring seat is not even comparable to stock seat. I am 6,2 and wanted a little more room. Rode to sturgis (10 day rides) twice with this seat on my Street glide.
Best touring seat on market for me
hey doshounds. sorry if this has been asked previously, but i totally love your flush mount gage and gas cap. I looked them up on harley website and it says they only come in chrome for the RKS. Is there a required workaround? Thanks. Also interested in your saddlebag latches. Are they black too? Really cool bike. I have the same one (add ons so far: sundowner seat, backrest for the bride, passenger floor boards, new rear shocks, supertrapp kerker slipons, windsplitter screen, luggage rack - and I also got the matching tour pack for long trips. still thinking about headers and air intake upgrades but the bike already has a ton of power. And I really need new bars.)
Thanks.

I see you got the part number for the black flush mount fuel gauge. I had the Factory saddlebag latches powder coated. I had to change the bars. Now I ride my RKS more. Lol. Enjoy the ride brother!
