I am 54 years old and in 2012 fell off a sdtage and in one second was pronounced dead. 2 1/2 minutes later a former Navy Medic gets to me and saves my life. Point I am making is like a few other folks said, tomorrow is not guaranteed. Life is too short and take from a guy who has died once, DO NOT WAIT if you do not have a bike. If you have a bike, different story. Going the next few months without riding to me is crazy. But I also get your side because I am getting me a softail slim in a few weeks when I move to Austin and that 110 engine is mighty sweet. I am sure the 103 would have been enough torqu with a stage 2 but I like getting from 0 to 60 as quickly as possible so I am stoked about the 110 engine. Bike will fly.
Get your ride now. You could go to sleep tonight and wake up dead.......
amen to that.
NYCBob. In 3 weeks, AustinBob.
No more 6 months of riding every year in NY. . Only reason you do not ride in Austin is it may be too hot. The best riding spot I ever checked out. Plus I am a pro musician and as killer as Brooklyn and NYC is for music, doesn't touch Austin IMHO of course. Sorry for getting off topic. Just a happy man now.

I want a new M8 Roadglide but until they do something to lighten the clutch pull on these new bikes it ain't happening. Damaged nerve has made my left hand too weak to operate those clutches for long. The pull on my Dyna is sooooo much lighter. I've considered buying a 14,15,16, over the new M8 because of this but the M8 motor I do believe is going to be a better overall platform than the Twinkies.
My dealer, one of them anyway, has got a 2017 Bullet Silver FLHR with my name on it. He's eating the cost of the sales tax, freight & set up, doc fee and color charge. It hasn't got AB or Security, which I don't want anyway. Out the door for 18999. It's like $16,650 for a new 2017 FLHR! I'd like to wait but I don't think I can at that price discount.
I don't think the 2018 touring line is going to change. They 'd **** off too many people. THey're into the Softtails and Dynas for 2018. Maybe some color changes maybe not for the Touring line. That's all.
