I am 70 today. Took my SG out for a ride today. Am I the oldest ?

Visited an old friend who turned 80 recently in Ft Myers on my way to Key West over the weekend. He'sstill riding his old shovelhead and flying his plane. We rode to the beach for dinner he still rolls down the road better than most, just a little more cautious when parking due to his bad hip.

Depending on whether you believe my birth certificate or my dear deceased mother I'm either 70 or 68. That makes me either a Roosevelt or a Truman baby.

I am not that far behind you.
There are plenty of others much older than you my friend that ride.
In the last 2 months I rode with one guy in his eighties and another guy in his upper seventies.
Both of them were on 2 wheels.
I am sure with all of the posts (and I have not even looked... and posts to come) there will be many older than you. So take that as a compliment if you will. You will likely have many, many more wonderful years ahead of you.
But you still owe us all a beer. That is the rule when you hit 70.
In the meantime because of my age I need to take a break....
