Hey guys, I have a 2014 twin cooled Ultra. I'm interested in hearing from anyone with their motor mods and what would be recommended. I'm a large guy and ride 2 up a lot. Looking for low end torque. Thanks.
Really depends what your budget is, however we have a few Harley specialists who are also HDF sponsors and who have well proven upgrade packages, plus stacks of knowledge on how to get the best from your bike. There are several tuning packages available from the MoCo, however you will probably get better value for money from a specialist shop, such as Hillside Cycle. There are others!
don;t be afraid to ride the bike where the rpms make power.
i find many riders ( esp with loud pipes) shift too soon before the power is being made.
when in canyons I often find the revs bouncing from 3300 to 4600 as I can accelerate quickly or slow with my throttle
as above there are many proven packages from hillside, fuelmoto or others who have proven repeatable results.
reliability and service life may be compromised
