...those gaps are good. Mine are just the same. Keeps it off da paint.
As for the antenna relocation kit...save urself the $99. U don't need it. If ur runnin a quick detach anyway (its not so QUICK w/ the antenna attached thru the bottom) just tuck the rest of that cable away unda ur seat and getcha ahidden fairing set-up TUNE TRAPPER. U'll be happy u did.
P.S. do 2 the moco inability to make a tour pak w/o antenna mounts carved in to the fiberglass..I mounted my originalantenna (albeit shortened) just to fill in the looks. I wuda told ur sales lady to just fill in her GAP w/ sumfin 4 sho
VERY NICE! I'll end up at the same place, but I'm coming at it backwards. Starting with a pewter pearl EG Classic. Adding clean fenders, removeable tour pak hardware, flhx mirrors, seat, console, signals, etc.
The antenna dillema is really annoying. I expect that the antenna mount under the tour pak will be ugly, particularly with the tour pak removed. So, antenna in the fairing seems the logical choice. But what will the tour pak look like after I remove theblack plastic antenna mountfrom it? Apparently there are two holes under there. A grommet? Um, no...
I bumped an old thread to see if anyone has ideas...
