For the past Seven+ years I have been a big fan and still highly recommended Fullsac X-Pipe and Fullsac CVO baffles. Proven performance, value, for the price is second to none period!!!

When I decide to take my 110" Stage II up a notch to my current 117" Stage III, I wanted to try something else.

I choose Drago's Dracula II 2-1 pipes with a ghost pipe. So far I am pretty damn stoked!!!

(Heavypic, my bro is in the same boat as you. He has been waiting almost 1 1/2 months for his exhaust.)

Hey all

Thanks again for your replies and install advice.

The wait for the exhaust is OK for now. I started a new job Jan 17....inherited a mess that was poorly managed for two+ years. Now, they expect me to clean it up in just a few months plus do the day-to-day. 50+ hour weeks in Feb and March, and my Sunday (today) will be all work. The sun is shining...should be riding...the grass needs cutting...should be riding...but I'll be chained to the laptop doing work the entire day. The word 'salary' must mean 'slavery' in some language somewhere. Hey, don't get me wrong...I'm happy to be working...I just don't like being taken advantage of...

If you're in the northeast, ...great day for ride...enjoy the day

Thanks again all!

Default Install Advice Questions...

Hey all,

My Dragula II, 2:1 system arrived for my 2014 Road King. Getting ready to install. It's been a while since my last exhaust system install. I have some questions:

1) I'm using new HD 'stock' exhaust gaskets. Which way do I install these? The HD Parts guy said 'flat' (wider edge?) side out toward head pipe. The HD Service Manual says "tapered side out" (narrow edge?) toward head pipe. Can someone confirm?

2) Figure 4-41 of my HD service manual shows Part No 15 (Retaining rings) that are installed between the new exhaust gaskets and the exhaust flange. Can I re-use the stock retaining rings on my stock exhaust, or should I pick-up a new pair of retaining rings? Bike has 10K miles...I'm not sure of the condition of the original stock retaining rings....

3) Should I use service manual torque specs for exhaust flange nuts and corresponding exhaust system fittings and mounting hardware nuts/bolts?

4) I have Permatex 81343 anti-seize lubricant (calcium, aluminum, graphite and silica-based / good to 1600 degrees) on-hand. Will this be OK as an anti-seize product for the muffler to head-pipe joint and exhaust flange bolt threads, or do I need the copper-based stuff (1800 degrees)? I may need to remove the muffler of the Dragula II periodically (belt tension adjustments, tire changes, etc.). Any chance this product could react with/discolor the chrome finish on the Dragula muffler? I'm thinking what I have on-hand should be fine...

Hope to get the Dragula II on next weekend and start riding... I like to have everything I might need on-hand before starting the disassembly/assembly.

Thanks all...
Regards

the wider edge goes in towards the exhaust port on head. tapered side out. re use the stock retaining rings, the anti seize u have is fine you should torque nuts to spec out of service manual if you are not sure how tight you are going by feel. done so many i never use a torque wrench on them!
