Default Olin Shocks number 6

After reading the Forum and evaluating everyone's input regarding front and rear shocks on my 2009 Ultra Classic, I chose to go with Olin. The rear on motorcycle metal site is the number 6. However, the illustration and instructions do not include an application that deals with a quick release trunk. Has anybody installed the top of the line hold on rear shock on their Ultra Classic. I need that information.

I haven't installed the #6 shocks but you won't run into any issues installing them on a bike with a tour pack.

I had my mechanic look at it and initially we were having difficulty looking for the room for the hard bags with the reserve tank the shocks are equipped with. Is there a link that's going to indicate the best way to install. Or, is there truly room for the 90-degree bracket to be fastened to the frame

I got mine on no problem, but I drilled my angle brackets for a different location than hanging them under the tour pack. I thought it made for a cleaner install.

Howard created those #6 himself and can answer any queries. It's well worth calling him.
