Check your rubber mounts where mufflers hang from saddle bag brackets at back. It changed when you tightened pipe and i have seen them squeal like a banshee . Spray some silcone lube on them and see if it changes or goes away.
Jim,
Your Bakers instruction sheet replaces the FSM instructions along with the compensator. I would not over torque the Baker to the FSM. A change to the Torca clamp made a change to the problem. Sounds like root cause is in sight.
I'm starting to think I may just replace these slip on mufflers. They are V&H slash rounds. I bought the bike used and I've never been too crazy about the sound they make.

It may be the primary area stuff then, maybe the compensator. Hell I dunno. I wish you a speedy resolution though. Something about the change with the new Torca clamp though, maybe something along those lines??
I definitely checked the belt tension. I even used the Harley tool so I was putting 10 lbs. of pressure on it. The deflection is right in spec. Like I said in the above quote, I think I'm just going to change out the mufflers.

I had never thought about that. I'm going to give that a shot. Thanks!!
