Ive checked mine last year and a couple points had loose screws was all. I have not added amp or new speakers, is this when the issue creeps in or have people had breakage with stock components?

That's the one area of my bike that everything is still stock. I think it's just a case where the MoCo went cheap on the brackets and didn't have a product that was strong enough for the application.

I generally agree with pingman, but my Biketronics amp and speakers added a LOT of weight. Others do, too.

Brackets installed, replacement radio in and I'm back on the road. I think one of those brackets may have been broken since I bought the bike. The fairing has never been this stable.
