I am having the exact same issue. I just purchased an 06 Dyna Street Bob with 231 miles on it. The bike has basically been sitting its whole life and shes a little rusty. Front brake lever wont compress at all, unless you loosen the banjo bolt. Tried bleeding, but nothing would come out and lever would not compress. Im going to follow Your advice and see where it takes me. No abs so shouldnt be too difficult. Ill keep you updated.

Brake fluid is hygrosopic, so if your bike has been sitting, it has collected moisture and likely corroded the lines, resulting in a completely plugged/clogged line. From your description of having tried bleeding with no results, you're going to be up for replacing the line at a minimum and likely a rebuild or replacement on the caliper as well.

Glad to chime in. I hope I'm right and I hope you get it going again soon. Brakes are important. If this is not something you've done before you might want to consider taking it to a shop (HD, or indy isn't as important), just to make sure your brakes are correct. If it's corrosion, the master cylinder may need attention too. Don't cheap out on brakes.
