Glad you're both on the mend.

Wow,what horrible thing for you & the wife to go thru.

I am glad neither of you seem to have life threatening injuries so with time hopefully you will heal back to normal.

I am not normally a litigation type person but in a case like yours where the guy that hit you was obviously not paying attention to what he was doing vs traffic situation at the time which is why i rec you get a very good accident layer to go this guy for all you can get.

well, it's your house. if you want to wear a helmet while in it, go ahead, it's your right....

to the op, hope you and your mrs heal up well. if you decide to ride again, or to pursue something else, as long as you do it together, you'll be fine.

Sorry you got taken out by a inattentive driver. Way to much of that happening theses days. Good choice wearing your helmet, sounds like it saved you from even greater injuries. Glad you both survived and hope you both heal up fast. Sounds like you need a good Lawyer to compensate you properly.

WOW OP!! Prayers to you and your wife...Can't even imagine the disgusted feeling I would have knowing my wife suffered injuries in a crash with me!
I would be looking for justice from whomever put me in a life & death situation...

How is your story being a "Debbie downer".. Dude, you had a horrific incident and lived to tell your story in an effort to bring up awareness. Caps off to you, and hoping for a speedy and full recovery, both physically and mentally.
