It is better to read your version of the incident that that of a reporters.
As that usually means the riders didnt come through.
Your recovery has started by talking about it and I Thank You for this.
God Speed the Two of yours Recovery,
Rob
I know how you feel, when I was living in Thailand the traffic got so bad that I would have nightmares about my wife being hurt on the bike, it got to the point where I could not let her on the bike. In Thailand it is definately a matter of when not if. We live in a small quiet town on Vancouver island now and we can ride reasonably safely here. Follow your instincts about whether to ride again or not and hope you two recover 100% and soon.
Glad you're here to tell the tale....Prayers for you and your wife...speedy recovery and full health....hope you feel up to riding again... but understand whatever you decide...best to you both
Very glad you're recovering. All the best to you.
This isn't the first accident I've heard about involving a vehicle darting out from behind a semi. Be careful out there.
My regards to your wife and yourself, you were blessed to be alive and it's a incident you'll never forget. Similar experience in 2014 when a driver ran a stop sign and when this happens it happens quick. You really have no time to decipher things they just happen so fast. The road to recovery will be long and hard but with that you'll have time to reflect on what's important to you and your wife. What ever you choose I pray you'll fully recover mentally and live the rest of your life peacefully with or without riding. P.S. Make them pay Dearly
Best wishes to the both of you for a speedy and complete recovery.
Thanks for sharing, sometimes unsettling stories can help to remind us to be careful and not take anything for granted.
You just never know what cards life holds for you.
Wow. Prayers that you both have a full and speedy recovery. I also pray that many people learn from the other driver's mistakes and pay attention to what they are doing.
So glad it was not worse but bad enough to feel for you and your wife. It can happen at any time and makes you really think of the dangers of riding and all the dangerous cagers on the road. Get well soon.
