the harness comes from under the seat and is attached to the frame with zip ties and the light harness is accessible when you unlock the bags its a short one so don't pull hard on the bags when you remove them

When you do finally mount them I found that using a popcycle stick layed on top of the light and with the lid closed and locked leaves a perfect distance so the lid will never rub on the light and keeps things straight. Once it sticks your done, no fixing it.

Used a stir stick from Home Depot paint department, under the bag lid.

Mine came with an instruction sheets, or you can print off the link that
Frank The Real Biker put in his post.

The saddle bag lights are plug & play, but take your time, when sticking
the taped wire holder to the inside of saddlebags. I have one a little close
to one of the shocks, it's not a problem.

They are bright night or day, I'm into safety, and being seen from behind.
