I bought a set of bars not realizing that they are for a Springer. Anyways is there a way to use these on my 03 Road King? Maybe an adaptor or something. Thanks in advance.
Unless they have changed something the only difference would be the risers you should be fine mounting springer bars to the RK. I've got a 96 springer and even used sporty bars for a brief period.
The knurl is different. I could see an issue with apes because of the leverage of pushing or pulling on them. A mechanic told me once that he had to be careful pushing bikes with tall apes around in the shop.

Beary
Pecisely the issue Knurl is wider on Springer should still clamp just fine as long as your not going ridicoulus tall. And the trick with pushing a bike with Apes is to grab at the riser or as close as possible... A trick that works to help clamp better is a piece of pop can between riser and bar allows more grip to be achieved after tightening.
If you wind up with bars with no knurl or in the wrong place, you can dimple the bars in a dozen or two places with a center punch and it'll hold as tightly as proper knurling. Even more if you go nuts with the center punch.
