Default Air Horn

Does anyone know of a direct replacement air horn for a HD Street Glide? I want to replace my stock horn, but I want to avoid the wiring harness. I hope I can get a replacement horn that uses the existing HD horn connections.

you will WANT to wire in a relay for an air horn- they pull more power than the stock wiring can carry with out damage

I'd stay away from howards horns- mine failed pretty quick.

I have an HD air horn which is been great- and came with a relay...pricey - I bought mine used.

the stebel nautilus is also a popular horn for bikes

+1 on the relay. Quick tip you may want to add to your installation is secure the relay to the socket with a small zip-tie. The first time I needed my Wolo air horn when a cage pulled right in front of me I hit the button and got...nothing! Oops! My error but was able to avoid anything that day.

Zip-tied really into socket.

Unsecured relay.

Direct plug-in. Much better than stock. It is what I bought when my oem failed

I installed a Bad Boy horn on my 2006 Street Glide directly into the existing wires...never a problem and they were as loud as they should have been. That said, Mike is correct...most situations require a relay, and its not that big a deal.

On my current 2011 Glide, I just installed the loud horn out of the P&A catalog. Works fine.

Interesting, my Howards Horns are over 10 years old and going strong. Just my experience.
