Judging from those symptoms I'd say it's gonna need a complete engine rebuild, wheel bearings, a tranny and clutch rebuild and swing arm bushings. The brakes might be ok. I'll take it off your hands for $100.
Make sure the connections are tight at both ends of battery cable. I replaced my battery with those symptoms, didn't work. Had it towed to an Indy. At first he thought it was a bad starter, turned out to be a loose positive ground. I didn't know how to reach it.
Maybe some of these smart people could tell you how to check the starter connections, instead of busting your *****.
I don't know your mechanical abilities, but the symptoms you stated are a weak or discharged battery. If your battery is holding a full charge then the next step is to check and clean the connections starting at the battery and working down to the starter.
I would be boosting it off a good battery and if it starts then I would make sure the bike is charging the battery.
